What should women pay attention to when treating cervical erosion? Women with cervical erosion do not need excessive treatment

If you have symptoms, you should check them out; if you are sick, you should seek medical treatment. However, due to the lack of medical knowledge and fear of diseases, as well as the blind treatment of some irresponsible doctors, some gynecological diseases have been "overtreated", which not only brings financial burden to patients, but also has adverse consequences on their physical health.

Do not over-treat cervical erosion

1. Asymptomatic small uterine fibroids (&5cm) or small intrauterine polyps (&1cm);

2. Reduced menstrual flow or thin endometrium without fertility requirements;

3. “Infertility” after trying to conceive for less than one year;

4. “Irregular menstruation” with a menstrual cycle of 21 to 35 days;

5. A small amount of pelvic effusion; 6. Small physiological ovarian cyst;

7. "Cervical erosion" without symptoms and normal TCT

In fact, simple cervical erosion does not require treatment at all. However, since some early cervical cancers cannot be distinguished from cervical erosion in appearance, women with cervical erosion should undergo cervical cytology examinations every 1-2 years to exclude cancer. If there are symptoms, such as increased secretions, some people will have back pain and a feeling of falling in the lower abdomen due to excessive secretions, then anti-inflammatory treatment is required. For patients who have not given birth, symptomatic treatment is generally used; for patients who have given birth and have a large area of erosion, physical therapy can also be performed, such as laser, micro-therapy, freezing, etc.

There is no need to deal with the above situations, just pay attention to regular check-ups.
