Understanding the symptoms of endometrial tuberculosis

Understanding the symptoms of endometrial tuberculosis

Endometrial tuberculosis is a common disease that causes female infertility. Its typical symptoms are menstrual disorders, dysmenorrhea, etc. We hope that our patients can pay more attention to these and not let their disease become serious. They must actively cooperate with treatment, otherwise it will lead to lifelong infertility. The following is an introduction to the symptoms of the disease.

Menstrual pain

Severe pain and distension occur before menstruation. The pain may extend to the anus and thighs. In severe cases, the limbs may become cold and vomiting may occur. After menstruation, the pain will be slightly relieved and disappear. Because some endometrial tissue may be implanted in the rectal depression, it may also cause pain during sexual intercourse. However, 25% of patients with this condition may not have symptoms of dysmenorrhea.

Menstrual disorders

About 15% of patients will experience increased menstrual flow and longer menstrual periods.

Infertility

Because endometrial tissue grows in an abnormal position, it may cause blockage of the fallopian tubes or the ovaries may not ovulate normally, reducing the chance of pregnancy.

Female menstruation is the shedding of the endometrium and the discharge of menstrual blood from the body, so irregular menstruation is the most direct symptom of the disease. The uterus is the most important reproductive organ for women. Female friends must pay attention to it, discover the symptoms of the disease, and seek treatment in time to ensure a smooth pregnancy.
