Treating uterine fibroids

Many factors must be considered before deciding on the best treatment for uterine fibroids, including tumor size, patient age and overall health, and early or late stages. Cervical cancer is generally highly malignant, and 70% of patients are already in the late stages when diagnosed. Treatments for uterine fibroids include surgical resection, Chinese medicine, radiation therapy, and chemotherapy. Surgery is not suitable for all patients with Ⅱ, Ⅲ, and Ⅳ. It is also easy to metastasize or recur after surgery.

Uterine cancer metastasis:

It is generally believed that uterine cancer develops slowly and spreads and metastasizes later.

The main ways are direct transmission, lymphatic and blood metastasis. Direct transmission can start from the early stage of the disease, the cervical canal can invade downward along the mucosal surface, and the uterine horns, fallopian tubes, ovaries and pelvic cavity can invade upward; it can also invade the deep muscle layer and even penetrate the uterine wall to the side of the uterus or the pelvic and abdominal cavity. Lymphatic metastasis is generally late, and the affected lymph nodes are different from the location of the tumor.

If the tumor involves the cervix, pelvic lymph node metastasis is more likely to occur; if it is uterine fundus cancer, lymph node metastasis can be transferred to the iliac vascular group lymph nodes through the broad ligament, or even the para-aortic lymph nodes; a few can be transferred to the deep inguinal lymph nodes along the round ligament; it can also reach the upper vagina, fallopian tubes and ovaries through the lymph around the uterus. The upper vaginal metastasis rate is about 8%~10%. In advanced patients, metastasis can be transferred to the lungs, liver, bones, etc. through the blood, but it is rare.

Yew is the main ingredient of traditional Chinese medicine, but it should be noted that yew is very toxic and cannot be taken alone. After normal people take it, it may cause serious toxic side effects, such as inhibiting bone marrow hematopoiesis and decreasing white blood cells. The main manifestations are dizziness, pupil dilation, nausea, vomiting, diffuse abdominal pain, muscle weakness, etc. In severe cases, slow heartbeat, cardiac arrest or death! Not to mention cancer patients! It must be combined with traditional Chinese medicine that can detoxify to be safe and effective.
