What are the diagnostic methods for female cervical warts?

Completely curing the disease is the wish of many patients with cervical warts. This stubborn disease troubles many people, affecting their normal life and work. At the same time, they are also suffering from discrimination and criticism from others. While receiving regular examinations and treatments, patients also need to understand the relevant knowledge about it, answer questions and solve doubts when encountering problems during treatment, and better understand their own condition and treatment, which is conducive to recovering health as soon as possible. So what are the diagnosis and treatment methods of cervical warts?

Cervical warts are a sexually transmitted disease caused by human papillomavirus infection that often occurs in the vulva and anus. The initial lesions are small, soft, light red papules, the size of a needle cap or a grain of rice, which gradually increase in size and number, becoming papilloma-like, cauliflower-like, cockscomb-like or mushroom-like growths with an uneven surface and a soft texture.

The five commonly used diagnostic methods for cervical warts are acetic acid white test, immunohistological examination, histochemical examination, pathological examination, and genetic diagnosis.

Cervical condyloma is a viral skin disease. The main treatment methods are surgical methods, such as laser, cryotherapy, microwave, photodynamic therapy, etc., supplemented by antiviral drug treatment (mainly intramuscular injection of interferon or polycythemia vera) or oral acyclovir, famciclovir, etc. This method is very effective, but the clinical reaction recurrence rate is very high. The main reason is that this method can only remove the warts on the surface of the skin, but cannot kill the free viruses lurking deep in the skin, so it is easy to relapse when the patient's immunity is low.

It is better to use a combination of methods to treat cervical warts. During the treatment, you should avoid spicy and irritating foods, tobacco and alcohol, staying up late, and sexual life. You should eat and live a regular life, pay attention to nutritional balance, exercise appropriately, enhance your own immunity, or take some oral immunity-enhancing medicines or health products to aid recovery.
