2. Ultrasonic examination judgment method

Because there are a large number of cells per unit volume in the tumor cells of uterine fibroid nodules, and the scaffold structure content of its connective tissue is different from the arrangement of tumors and cells, the fibroid nodules show three different echoes in ultrasound scanning, namely weak echo, equal echo and strong echo. Among them, weak echo indicates that the density of fibroid cells is large, the content of elastic fibers is large, the cells are mainly arranged in nests, and the blood vessels are relatively rich; while strong echo indicates that the fibroids have a large content of collagen fibers and the cells are mainly arranged in bundles; equal echo is between weak echo and strong echo. Generally speaking, when a tumor undergoes degeneration, the acoustic penetration will be greatly enhanced, that is, the higher the degree of malignancy of the fibroid, the stronger its echo. If the necrosis area of ​​the fibroid increases, the echo inside it will be disordered.
