How to cure uterine fibroids

How to cure uterine fibroids

Uterine fibroids are the most common benign tumors in gynecology. They are mainly composed of the smooth muscle and connective tissue of the uterus. Once uterine fibroids appear, the best treatment plan needs to be selected according to the size, location and accompanying symptoms of the uterine fibroids. At present, the only way to cure uterine fibroids is surgical resection, and there is no other conservative treatment method that can cure uterine fibroids. Conservative drug treatment can only inhibit the growth of uterine fibroids, but it is impossible to make them disappear completely.

Do I need to take medicine for uterine fibroids?

Uterine fibroids, if they are relatively small, without symptoms and within five centimeters, generally do not require medication. Because the effect of medication for uterine fibroids is not very good, the uterine fibroids can be significantly reduced during the medication period. However, after stopping the medication, the uterine fibroids will still increase significantly. Uterine fibroids can also be treated with traditional Chinese medicine or Chinese patent medicine to promote blood circulation, remove blood stasis, and eliminate nodules. They may also be significantly reduced, but the effect is relatively slow. If uterine fibroids cause excessive menstruation, prolonged menstruation, or compression symptoms, surgical treatment is required. Simply using medication will not be effective.

Will uterine fibroids disappear?

Uterine fibroids are common and frequently occurring diseases in gynecology. Uterine fibroids are closely related to the estrogen in women. When the estrogen level drops, uterine fibroids may shrink, especially in postmenopausal women. If the uterine fibroids were not large before, they may disappear, but the possibility of disappearance of uterine fibroids in women of childbearing age is very small. However, some relatively small uterine fibroids, such as those less than one centimeter, may shrink through drug treatment, and cannot be seen through B-ultrasound, which can also be understood as disappearance.
