What happens to cervical nabothian cyst?

Clinically, cervical nabothian cysts may be caused by multiple deliveries, bacterial vaginitis, infection from indwelling contraceptive rings, endometritis, cervicitis, and other reasons.

1. Multiple births:

If you have multiple deliveries, it may cause damage to the cervix and increase the risk of cervical gland cysts. In this case, the patient needs to go to the hospital for regular checkups to understand the specific condition of the cervix.

2. Bacterial vaginosis:

It is mainly caused by bacterial infection, and symptoms such as vulvar itching and increased vaginal discharge will appear. When the bacteria in the body gradually increase, it may infect the cervical glands and cause cysts. In this case, the patient needs to take drugs such as metronidazole tablets, tinidazole tablets, and cefuroxime axetil tablets.

3. Infection caused by retaining the IUD:

If there is an IUD in the uterine cavity and it is not clean and hygienic, it will cause bacterial proliferation and induce infection, thus leading to cervical gland cysts. In this case, the patient needs to go to the hospital to remove the IUD, and then take amoxicillin capsules, cephalosporin capsules, roxithromycin capsules and other drugs under the guidance of a doctor.

4. Endometritis:

It is mainly caused by endometrial infection pathogens, such as Neisseria gonorrhoeae, anaerobic bacteria, aerobic bacteria, etc., and symptoms such as increased leucorrhea, lower abdominal pain, abnormal vaginal bleeding, etc., may occur. In severe cases, it may lead to cervical suppuration and cyst formation. In this case, patients need to follow the doctor's advice and take drugs such as azithromycin dispersible tablets, levofloxacin hydrochloride tablets, and gynecological Qianjin tablets.

5. Cervicitis:

If you have cervicitis, it will cause damage to the cervix, and if it is not treated in time, cysts will form on the cervix. In this case, the patient can take ornidazole tablets, norfloxacin capsules, cefaclor dispersible tablets and other drugs according to the doctor's advice.
