What does some hydatidiform mole mean?

Due to excessive nourishment of the uterine villi and cell proliferation, the villi will turn into blisters, just like grapes, that is, some hydatidiform mole. If not treated in time, it is easy to cause uterine perforation and even heavy bleeding symptoms.

The specific contents are as follows:

1. Pathology

Due to excessive nutrition of the placental villi after delivery, the cells proliferate, leading to interstitial edema, resulting in blisters of different sizes. These blisters will be clustered like grapes. At present, the exact cause of the disease has not yet occurred in clinical practice. It is generally believed that the disease is related to nutritional disorders and infections.

2. Causes

After a woman becomes pregnant, a large number of villi will grow in the embryo. These villi will be implanted in the mother's uterus after they appear. The fetus will rely on these villi to exchange substances, obtain oxygen, nutrition and its own metabolism. However, due to the edema between the villi, it will cause the cells to swell extremely, turning the villi into blisters like grapes. The walls of these blisters are transparent and contain viscous fluid.

Symptoms

When there are some diseases such as hydatidiform mole in the body, pregnant women will experience clinical amenorrhea, and most of them will have amenorrhea for two to three months or even longer. When the uterus reaches the gestational age of four to five months, pregnant women will not feel the movement of the fetus or hear the fetal heart. After examination, blood flow and vesicular fetal masses will be found in the vagina, but further examination is needed to confirm whether there is a partial hydatidiform mole.

IV. Treatment

Some pregnant women need timely treatment after the occurrence of hydatidiform mole. Uterine debridement, suction instead of curettage. Suction surgery is fast, less bleeding, can prevent the disease from worsening and cause uterine perforation.
