Conventional methods of Western medicine for treating habitual abortion

Conventional methods of Western medicine for treating habitual abortion:

Habitual abortion refers to spontaneous abortion 3 or more times. After habitual abortion, the couple should go to a regular hospital or family planning service station for examination to find out the cause of "abortion". The causes of symptomatic treatment are:

1. Patients with uterine malformation should undergo surgical correction.

2. Patients with intrauterine adhesions can take Chinese medicine that promotes blood circulation and removes blood stasis to achieve the purpose of loosening adhesions.

3. Those with luteal insufficiency can supplement progesterone. If pregnancy is possible, start taking progesterone 10-20 mg/d on the 3rd to 4th day after the basal body temperature rises. After the pregnancy is confirmed, continue the treatment until the 9th to 10th week of pregnancy.

4. Chromosomal abnormality. If you become pregnant again, you must undergo a prenatal examination and analyze the chromosome nucleus of amniotic fluid cells to understand whether the fetus has congenital malformations. Once an abnormality is found, the pregnancy should be terminated in time.

5. For positive bacterial cultures of vaginal and cervical discharge in women and semen in men, appropriate treatment should be given according to drug sensitivity tests until recovery. Condoms are used for treatment.

6. If the uterine fibroids are small, you can take medication; if the fibroids are large and single, surgical resection can be used for treatment.

7. For those with loose cervix, cervical suture can be performed within 12-20 weeks of pregnancy according to the time of previous miscarriage. Vaginal inflammation must be cured before surgery. Progesterone, Chinese medicine and sedatives can be used to maintain pregnancy after surgery, and regular follow-up is required.
