Can pelvic effusion be cured by draining the fluid?

Can fluid drainage cure pelvic effusion?

1. Physiological pelvic effusion refers to purely physiological pelvic effusion without external causes. For example, during menstruation, a small amount of menstrual blood is not discharged and remains in the lowest point of the abdominal cavity - the pelvic cavity; for example, during ovulation, some ovarian secretions are discharged into the pelvic cavity through the fallopian tube, forming pelvic effusion.

2. Physiological pelvic effusion is a normal physiological phenomenon in women. If a woman has pelvic effusion, it means that her fallopian tubes are unobstructed.

3. In addition to normal pelvic effusion due to physiological characteristics, pathological pelvic effusion is mostly pelvic inflammatory disease or endometriosis. The cause of pelvic inflammatory disease is often related to the patient's bad hygiene habits, such as having sex during menstruation or within one month after childbirth, taking a bath within one month after gynecological surgery, etc.

4. There are many treatments for pelvic effusion. One of the easier to understand is to extract the pelvic fluid.

5. Pelvic effusion should be treated early. Delaying treatment will affect fertility. To determine the pathogen of pelvic effusion, special tests should be performed and then symptomatic medication should be used. If tuberculosis is suspected, anti-tuberculosis treatment should be given.

6. Extraction of effusion is a means of examination or symptomatic treatment and should not be done frequently. Because simply extracting effusion will not only fail to cure pelvic effusion, but will also increase the amount of effusion. Patients cannot rely solely on extracting effusion to hope to cure the disease.
