What are the causes of dysmenorrhea?

Dysmenorrhea can be caused by colds, psychological stress, primary dysmenorrhea, pelvic inflammatory disease, endometriosis, etc. Patients are advised to seek timely treatment.

1. Catch a cold:

If the patient does not take warming measures during menstruation and suffers from abdominal cold, it may cause violent contraction of the uterus and cause abdominal pain, which can be relieved by hot compress.

2. Psychological pressure:

If the patient is under too much psychological pressure, it may lead to poor blood circulation, poor menstrual blood flow, and cause dysmenorrhea. The psychological pressure can be adjusted through outdoor exercise and talking with friends.

3. Primary dysmenorrhea:

During menstruation, the endometrium produces a hormone called prostaglandins. When the content is too high, it will cause excessive contraction of the uterus, leading to uterine ischemia, hypoxia and dysmenorrhea.

4. Pelvic inflammatory disease:

It may be caused by sexual activity, bacterial infection and other factors. The inflammatory stimulation after the disease can cause pelvic congestion, causing the patient to experience symptoms such as lower abdominal swelling and pain.

5. Endometriosis

It may be caused by reproductive tract abnormalities, endocrine dysfunction and other factors, which can easily lead to the appearance of endometrial tissue outside the uterine cavity and myometrium, and under the influence of cyclical ovarian hormones, symptoms such as menstrual pain, menstrual abnormalities, and sexual pain occur.

In daily life, we should develop good living habits, ensure adequate rest, and avoid staying up late.
