How to best deal with ectopic pregnancy

2. Fallopian tube fenestration and suture: It is suitable for cases where the fallopian tube is not ruptured or the rupture is small. Through laparoscopic surgery, the fallopian tube is cut open to remove the embryo, and then the fallopian tube is sutured to maintain its function.

3. Salpingectomy: It is suitable for patients with severe fallopian tube rupture, difficult to repair, and accompanied by hemorrhagic shock. The affected fallopian tube is removed through laparoscopy or laparotomy.

4. Corpus luteum destruction: It is suitable for unruptured ectopic pregnancy, when it is difficult to find the location of pregnancy, or when the location of pregnancy is not conducive to surgical resection. The corpus luteum is destroyed by mechanical and drug methods, causing a sudden drop in progesterone in the body that supports pregnancy, resulting in natural apoptosis of the embryo.

5. Chemotherapy drug treatment: Suitable for patients with ectopic pregnancy, small doses of chemotherapy drugs are injected through the catheter to achieve the treatment goal.

There are various treatment methods for ectopic pregnancy, but they need to be selected according to the specific situation of the patient. Conservative drug treatment is suitable for early patients, while surgical treatment includes tubal fenestration suture, salpingectomy, corpus luteum destruction and other methods. No matter which treatment method is chosen, it should be carried out under the guidance of a doctor to ensure the safety and health of the patient.
