Causes of bilateral ovarian polycystic changes

The causes of bilateral polycystic ovaries include abnormal adrenal function. It is also related to family heredity or obesity and hyperinsulinemia, all of which may lead to bilateral polycystic ovaries.

1. Abnormal adrenal function: Bilateral polycystic ovaries are related to abnormal adrenal function. Abnormal adrenal function mainly refers to abnormal adrenal cortex function. It may be hyperfunction of the adrenal cortex, which leads to excessive secretion, resulting in anovulatory symptoms of androgens.
