What exactly is cervical erosion?

Generally speaking, women are most afraid of gynecological diseases, because such diseases are not easy to cure. Take cervical erosion for example. Most women who suffer from cervical erosion do not know much about this disease. Generally speaking, cervical erosion is not difficult to understand, and the mechanism of cervical erosion is not complicated. Cervical erosion is a manifestation of chronic cervicitis. Simple erosion, granular erosion, papillary erosion, epithelial shedding and uterine damage caused by bacterial infection are all cervical erosion.

Sometimes, women themselves suffer from gynecological diseases, but they do not pay attention to or understand the disease. Take cervical erosion as an example. There are many causes of cervical erosion. So what is cervical erosion? The following text can provide some answers for some women who do not understand cervical erosion.
1. First of all, cervical erosion is a manifestation of chronic cervicitis. After being infected with human papillomavirus, it is very likely to cause women to suffer from the disease, and then cause women to suffer from cervical erosion.
2. Simple erosion. When a woman's body suffers from inflammation, the erosion surface is only covered by a single layer of columnar epithelium, but its surface is very flat.

3. Granular erosion: Patients with simple erosion will have excessive epithelial proliferation, accompanied by interstitial hyperplasia, and the erosion surface will appear uneven and granular in shape.
4. Papillary erosion. When the interstitial hyperplasia in granular erosion becomes more obvious, the uneven surface phenomenon will become more serious and take the shape of a papillary process.

5. Epithelial shedding caused by bacterial infection. After a woman is infected with bacteria, the epithelium shedding leads to erosion, which is closely related to the female endocrine system. Some women have frequent sex, which can easily cause damage to the vaginal and cervical tissues. This leads to infection of their bodies. At the same time, a large amount of vaginal secretions are produced in the body, which softens and shedding the squamous epithelium on the surface of the cervix, thus forming cervical erosion.
6. Damage to the uterus. A damaged uterus can cause women to be infected during childbirth, miscarriage, and the postpartum period, causing damage to the cervix. Pathogens can then take advantage of the opportunity to invade the cervix and cause infection, leading to cervical erosion.
