What are the symptoms of cervical erosion?

Cervical erosion is a disease that troubles many women. When women undergo relevant examinations, nearly nine out of ten are diagnosed with cervical erosion. Many female friends may be frightened when they hear about cervical erosion, but in fact this is a misunderstanding of cervical erosion. In fact, cervical erosion is not terrible and is very normal. So what are the symptoms of cervical erosion?

Cervical erosion refers to the displacement of the squamous epithelium outside the cervix and the columnar epithelium inside the cervix at the junction. This phenomenon is a physiological change caused by female estrogen. Cervical erosion lasts for decades, starting from adolescence in women. Some people have this condition, while others do not, because of different personal constitutions.

Symptoms of cervical erosion
1. Abnormal vaginal discharge
The main symptom of cervical erosion is increased vaginal discharge. When cervical erosion reaches the third degree, yellow pus and stickiness will appear. The lesions involve deep erosion and large-area severe erosion. The amount of leucorrhea may decrease significantly, resulting in sticky yellow, or vaginal congestion. A few patients have contact bleeding accompanied by odor. Inflammatory secretions can also cause genital itching if they stimulate the vulva for a long time.
2. Abdominal pain
The pathogens of cervical erosion are widespread. Because the cervical lymphatic vessels are directly connected to the connective tissue of the uterus, inflammation can spread to the pelvic cavity through the lymphatic circulation, causing a feeling of swelling in the lower abdomen. If the inflammation affects the main ligament, sexual pain will occur and affect sexual life.

3. Bladder disease
Due to the long-term stimulation of inflammatory leucorrhea, the vulva has symptoms of itching, redness and pain. Under normal circumstances, 1 to 2 degrees of cervical erosion can be observed with diet and drug conditioning. 3rd degree cervical erosion is best recommended for surgical treatment to prevent the risk of cancer and affect life and health. If you have sex during menstruation, it is easy to cause cervical erosion. Bacteria can easily enter the uterus, causing dysmenorrhea and bleeding. Therefore, women are reminded not to have sex during menstruation and pay attention to life hygiene. Wash the vulva with warm water every day and change underwear frequently.
