Common causes of endometriosis

Common causes of endometriosis

Various gynecological diseases are flocking in, on the one hand because female friends' daily health care is not in place, on the other hand it is caused by psychological tension and changes in the external environment. Endometriosis is one of the most common diseases in recent years. Now I will tell you the main symptoms of this disease and how to prevent it in the future.

Lower abdominal pain: Endometriosis causes the most obvious pain in the lower abdomen and lower back, which starts two days before menstruation and is most severe on the first day, manifesting as radiating pain, and then gradually eases. However, with local lesions and long-term illness, dysmenorrhea will gradually worsen. Dr. Torgal Turandi, an obstetrician and gynecologist at McGill University in Canada, said that the degree of pain in endometriosis is not necessarily proportional to the size of the lesion. Some advanced patients have long-term abdominal pain. It is easy to misdiagnose as chronic pelvic inflammatory disease, but repeated anti-inflammatory treatment is ineffective.

Infertility: Endometriosis is one of the important factors that have been found to cause female infertility in recent years. According to Dr. Valerie Omisiori, a gynecologist at the University of Maryland Medical Center, many studies have found that the infertility rate of patients with endometriosis may be as high as 30%-45%. Therefore, if women of childbearing age experience dysmenorrhea or infertility for many years, they should check for the occurrence of their disease.

Menstrual disorders: According to Dr. Paul D. Inderman, a gynecologist in California, about 15% of patients with endometriosis experience increased or prolonged menstrual flow, and a small number of patients experience premenstrual bleeding. The latest research finds that women who have menarche before the age of 12 or who are in late menopause have a greater risk of endometrial cancer.

Pain or discomfort during intercourse: This is usually because of ectopic endometrium that develops in the pit of the rectum or because the lesion causes the uterus to tilt backward and become fixed, according to Dr. Roger W. Hams, an obstetrician and gynecologist at the Mayo Clinic in the United States. During intercourse, uterine lesions involve and cause pain, usually deep intercourse pain, most notably before menstruation.
