TCM treatment of ovarian cysts

What are the methods of TCM for treating ovarian cysts? Ovarian cysts are a common tumor disease. This disease not only causes great harm to the patient's body, but also has a great impact on the life and work of patients with ovarian cysts. Therefore, timely treatment of ovarian cysts is the key and most commonly used method for treating ovarian cysts. The methods are surgical treatment, drug treatment, Chinese medicine treatment, etc. So what are the methods of TCM for treating ovarian cysts? Below we will introduce this issue in detail.

Clinical observations show that patients with ovarian cysts often have bilateral abdominal distension and pain, a large amount of yellow-white, fatigue that worsens before and after, shortness of breath, palpitations, low back pain or discomfort in the coccyx. Ultrasound shows one or two ovarian masses with clear edges and dark areas of fluid. The masses are generally within 7.5cm×7.5cm. Patients with ovarian cysts may have complications of acute and chronic pelvic inflammatory disease, infertility and uterine fibroids.

The basic prescription for ovarian cysts includes seaweed, white mustard, three-edged lanceolate, zedoaria, coix seed, Prunella vulgaris, peach, arisaema, red peony root, and liquorice. This prescription can regulate qi and activate blood circulation, remove blood stasis and swelling, remove phlegm and dampness, and disperse and soften hard tissues. Three-edged lanceolate, zedoaria, peach kernel, and red peony root have the effects of regulating qi and activating blood circulation, and promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis in the prescription. Seaweed, Prunella vulgaris, and white mustard can remove phlegm and reduce swelling, soften and tighten. Arisaema and coix seed can remove dampness and resolve phlegm. Licorice, which moisturizes and strengthens the spleen, harmonizes a variety of medicines, and is used in combination with seaweed and white mustard to eliminate yin evil and greasy. The above medicines are compatible with each other to remove phlegm and dampness, activate blood circulation and remove blood stasis, and eliminate ovarian cysts.

In terms of prescription selection, qi deficiency and phlegm and blood stasis are the main clinical obstacles, and dampness, heat or cold coagulation exist at the same time. Its treatment methods mainly include promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis, and removing phlegm and removing blood stasis. For patients with ovarian cysts accompanied by deficiency and cold, the original prescription is added with aconite, roasted ginger, fennel, and deer antler glue (infusion); for patients with qi deficiency, the original prescription is added with astragalus, codonopsis, and atractylodes. For patients with ovarian cysts due to insufficient bleeding, the original prescription is cooked rehmannia, angelica, and donkey-hide gelatin (infusion). For local phlegm and dampness, the original prescription is added with Yunling, Atractylodes, Yubiling, and orange peel. For those who like it, the original prescription is added with moutan bark, phellodendron, and rhubarb. For those with partial blood stasis, the original prescription includes salvia miltiorrhiza, leech, and zelan. For those with depression, spices, tulips, and orange stones were added to the original formula.

Ovarian cysts of qi stagnation and blood stasis type are characterized by fewer abdominal or bilateral masses. Most small ones have no obvious symptoms. Large ones have palpitations, shortness of breath, backache, lower abdomen, poor bowel movements, frequent urination, and tongue congestion. The main treatments for ovarian cysts include Paojia, Angelica, Chuanxiong, Salvia miltiorrhiza, Achyranthes bidentata, rhubarb vinegar, Yanhu vinegar, cinnamon, fried black ugly, Wulingzhi, fried triangle vinegar, Curcuma, and Musk.

The above is the specific content of TCM treatment of ovarian cysts. I believe everyone already knows that as long as patients with ovarian cysts go to a regular TCM hospital for treatment, the effect of TCM treatment of ovarian cysts is very good.
