Precautions for preventing vulvar itching

Vulvar pruritus is a disease that many women are fed up with. Although it is not a disease that threatens the patient's life, the harm it brings to the patient cannot be underestimated. Therefore, it is every woman's wish to pay attention to the precautions for preventing vulvar pruritus and nip it in the bud.

To cure stubborn vulvar itching, first stop all scalding and washing measures, and secondly stop taking all drugs containing "pine". The itching may be worse at the beginning of stopping the medication. At this time, you can use a thick cold towel to wet the vulva, wash the towel every 3 minutes, and do not let it get hot. Continue to apply cold compress until the itching stops, and apply it again if it itches again. Do not apply any medicine, and it will eventually heal.

After urinating, defecating or having sexual intercourse, you only need to rinse the vulva with cold water, but do not flush the water into the anus or vagina, so as not to affect the self-cleaning function of the body's tissues.

Tips for preventing vulvar itching:

1. Pay attention to menstrual hygiene, change menstrual pads frequently and wash them frequently during menstruation.

2. Keep the vulva clean and dry, do not wash it with hot water or scrub it with soap.

3. Avoid misusing or abusing drugs, scratching or local friction.

4. Avoid alcohol, spicy food, seafood, and medicines that may cause allergies.

5. Do not wear tight crotch pants. Underwear should be loose, breathable, and preferably made of cotton.

6. If there is local damage or infection, you can use 1:5000 potassium permanganate solution (add a small amount of potassium permanganate powder to warm water to make it light red, not too concentrated) to soak twice a day, each time for 20 to 30 minutes. It is best to see a doctor and follow the doctor's advice.
