What are the causes of miscarriage?

Miscarriage is troubling more and more women and families in life. It is becoming more and more common in today's life. I believe that many people do not understand miscarriage. Miscarriage is not as simple as we think. There are many reasons for miscarriage. Today, the editor will learn with you the causes of miscarriage.

The main causes of miscarriage are as follows:

1. Embryo-related reasons: Abnormal embryonic development is the main cause of early miscarriage. Due to defects in sperm or egg, the embryo dies after developing to a certain extent. When examining the tissue discharged from early miscarriage, only the amniotic sac is found but no embryo is found.

2. Causes of maternal disease: The mother suffers from an acute infectious disease, and the pathogen invades the fetus through the placenta, causing fetal death; or the mother has a high fever or poisoning, which causes uterine contractions and leads to miscarriage; the mother suffers from chronic diseases such as heart failure and anemia, which can cause the fetus to die from lack of oxygen; or suffers from nephritis or chronic hypertension, which causes placental lesions due to vascular sclerosis and leads to miscarriage; it may also be due to endocrine disorders such as luteal insufficiency and thyroid hormone deficiency that affect the normal development of the embryo, leading to fetal death and miscarriage.

3. Diseases of the maternal reproductive organs: such as uterine hypoplasia, uterine malformation, uterine fibroids, and cervical relaxation, can easily cause miscarriage.

4. External factors: Pregnant women are affected by harmful substances or toxic environments such as mercury, lead, cadmium, etc. External physical factors such as high temperature and noise can also cause miscarriage.

5. Endocrine dysfunction mainly includes corpus luteum dysfunction and hypothyroidism in pregnant women.

6. Immune factors: After the mother becomes pregnant, the mother rejects the fetus due to immune incompatibility between the mother and the fetus.

7. Other unexpected situations: such as falls, overwork, collisions, sexual intercourse, alcoholism, smoking, exposure to toxic and harmful substances, etc., may also cause miscarriage.
