2. Causes of threatened abortion

Nowadays, there are many reasons for miscarriage, mainly including chromosomal abnormalities and maternal factors. Chromosome abnormalities include quantitative abnormalities and structural abnormalities, which are the main causes of miscarriage. Maternal factors are more numerous, including systemic diseases, endocrine abnormalities, immune dysfunction, severe malnutrition, bad habits, adverse factors in the environment, uterine defects, trauma, emotional trauma, etc.

3. Symptoms of threatened abortion

To understand what threatened abortion is, you can look at its symptoms. Most patients with threatened abortion will have a small amount of vaginal bleeding after pregnancy. Depending on the amount of bleeding and the time it accumulates in the vagina, the color can be bright red, pink, and dark brown; sometimes it is accompanied by mild lower abdominal pain, a feeling of falling when the fetus moves, and backache and abdominal distension. In folk culture, threatened abortion is also called "seeing blood."
