Correctly understand the harm of threatened abortion

Many female friends will have many problems during pregnancy, big and small, and miscarriage is undoubtedly the most worrying. If miscarriage is compared to an army, then threatened miscarriage is the vanguard. This makes us have to pay attention to threatened miscarriage. So today let us understand the harm of threatened miscarriage.

Abortion goes through a series of processes from the beginning to the end. Different diagnostic names can be given according to its different stages, namely: threatened abortion, inevitable abortion, incomplete abortion, complete abortion, and overdue abortion. Threatened abortion refers to a small amount of vaginal bleeding before 28 weeks of pregnancy, followed by paroxysmal lower abdominal pain or back pain. Pelvic examination shows that the cervix is not dilated, the fetal membranes are intact, no pregnancy products are discharged, and the size of the uterus is consistent with the gestational age. If the symptoms worsen, it may develop into inevitable abortion.

The main risks of threatened abortion are:

1. Amenorrhea. Most patients with spontaneous abortion have a history of amenorrhea.

2. Vaginal bleeding and abdominal pain. The first symptom is often vaginal bleeding, which is usually light in amount and dark red or bloody leucorrhea, but can sometimes last for 4-5 days to more than a week. A few hours to a few weeks after the bleeding occurs, it may be accompanied by mild lower abdominal pain or back pain. After 12 weeks of pregnancy, the patient may sometimes feel paroxysmal abdominal pain. Gynecological examination shows that the cervix is not open, no pregnancy material is discharged, and the size of the uterus is consistent with the time of menopause.

Therefore, threatened abortion is very harmful to patients. Therefore, you should pay attention to rest and avoid overwork in the early stage of pregnancy. You should avoid sexual intercourse in the first three months of pregnancy and try to avoid contact with toxic and harmful physical and chemical substances in order to avoid the occurrence of threatened abortion.
