What are the consequences of worsening intrauterine fluid?

Intrauterine effusion is also called intrauterine effusion. It is not common in clinic. Patients with intrauterine effusion of different ages may have different causes. Experts say that most women have a little effusion, which is physiological. Pathological effusion is generally more. So what are the consequences of worsening intrauterine effusion?

1. Uterine effusion leads to infertility: If uterine effusion is not properly treated, it is very harmful and can easily lead to pelvic adhesions, fallopian tube blockage, etc., leading to infertility. If you usually have lower abdominal pain, lumbar pain, increased leucorrhea, lower abdominal tenderness, cord-like thickening, etc. during gynecological examination, consider chronic pelvic inflammatory disease, and active treatment is needed to prevent the inflammation from worsening and the amount of effusion from increasing.

2. Uterine effusion causes pelvic inflammation: Most uterine effusions are caused by inflammation, that is, exudation from chronic pelvic inflammation. A few are caused by ruptured ectopic pregnancy, corpus luteum rupture, pelvic abscess, chocolate cyst, and ovarian cancer. For effusions caused by pelvic inflammation, it is best to perform a posterior fornix puncture to identify the nature of the fluid.

3. Uterine fluid affects fertility: If there are chronic infection lesions, it may be inflammation of the gynecological system such as the ovaries and fallopian tubes, or it may be caused by tuberculosis or tumors. It is easy to cause pelvic adhesions, fallopian tube blockage, etc., which will affect fertility if delayed for a long time.
