What are cervical condyloma? It is caused by condyloma virus, which can invade the skin and mucous membranes, such as the vulva, vagina, anus and uterus. After the uterus is infected, the virus causes lesions in the cervical mucosa, and papillary and wart-like warts of varying sizes are formed on the cervix. Multiple warts are densely packed together or scattered. They are gray or dark red in appearance and soft to the touch. The following are pictures of cervical condyloma to help you accurately understand the symptoms.

Cervical condyloma is usually multiple, in addition to the cervix, the vulva, vagina and anus can also be complicated. If it is multiple during pregnancy, it can disappear on its own after delivery.

Cervical warts are usually in a humid and warm environment, especially after using some destructive treatments (laser, freezing, corrosive drugs are all included). The wound surface recovers slowly due to the influence of secretions, thus creating a better breeding ground for the viruses remaining around the warts.

Experts believe that normal human skin has a natural barrier to prevent the invasion of foreign pathogens, but if the skin is slightly damaged, the chance of infection increases. Therefore, the traumatic surface left after physical therapy is one of the important reasons for the recurrence of genital warts.

Cervical warts usually occur on the labia majora, labia minora, clitoris, and can also be seen on the perineum. About 1/3 of them are accompanied by vaginal warts, and 6% to 20% are accompanied by cervical warts. Genital warts on the female genitals are more harmful due to the stimulation of vaginal secretions. Especially for pregnant women, the warts are more obviously enlarged.
