Salt helps the human body:

  • Salt is good for maintaining body temperature, increasing muscle strength, and boosting overall body mobility. Insufficient salt intake can lead to cold hands and feet, reduced muscle mass, and slower organ functioning, which can lead to swelling. If there is salt in the diet to season it appropriately, it will increase the body's sense of satisfaction and will be less likely to overeat. The rule of light diet may even lead to the opposite effect of binge eating.
