What medicine should I take to cure cervical warts

Cervical warts are not easy to cure completely. There are many kinds of drugs for treating cervical warts. What kind of drug treatment to take should be decided according to the actual situation of the patient. Cervical warts are prone to recurrence, so during treatment, we must ensure that cervical warts are completely cured. There are two main treatment methods: physical and chemical.

If a single treatment is difficult to achieve the desired effect, the commonly used drugs for the treatment of cervical warts are as follows: recombinant human interferon for injection, recombinant human interferon α2b cream or gel, thymosin or thymopentin for injection, podophyllotoxin tincture, cantharidin cream, imiquimod cream, transfer factor capsules or oral solution, phthalamide ointment, lysozyme enteric-coated tablets, shiitake mushroom polysaccharide tablets, mannan peptide tablets, interleukin, etc.

Commonly used drug treatments for cervical warts include:

The use of this drug is as follows: use it twice a day for 3 consecutive days as a course of treatment. If the warts do not fall off, the second course of treatment should be started after 4 days of rest. This drug can be used for three consecutive courses. The adverse reactions of this drug mainly include local pain and redness. ;

2. 10-25% podophyllotoxin tincture: Before the advent of 0.5% podophyllotoxin tincture, 10-25% podophyllotoxin tincture was the most common drug for treating cervical condylomatae. However, this drug has significant toxic side effects and has been gradually replaced by 0.5% podophyllotoxin tincture.

3. Interferon: External use of interferon can inhibit the virus by stimulating T cells, thus achieving a therapeutic effect. This drug has a certain effect on the treatment of small cervical warts;

4. 2.5-5% fluorouracil ointment: The main function of 2.5-5% fluorouracil ointment is to inhibit the synthesis of RNA. The usage is as follows: Use it 1 to 2 times a day until the warts fall off. Stop using it immediately when redness, swelling, and erosion appear on the surrounding skin.

It should be noted that before female patients use topical medications for cervical warts, they should go to a regular hospital for relevant examinations and use the medication under the guidance of a doctor.
