What diseases can be complicated by endometriosis?

Nowadays, endometriosis has become one of the most annoying diseases for women. Because this disease is more likely to occur in young female friends, so in many cases, it will affect women's normal life and work because of this disease. So what are the specific obvious harms that women will suffer from after suffering from this disease?

Complications of endometriosis

1. Leading to female infertility The infertility rate of patients with endometriosis is very high, and they account for a large proportion of the infertile population. Endometriosis leading to infertility is related to changes in pelvic structure, changes in ovarian hormones, and autoimmunity.

2. Menstrual disorders. Endometriosis can also cause menstrual disorders in some patients, generally with increased menstrual flow and prolonged menstrual periods.

3. Dysmenorrhea. Endometriosis can also cause dysmenorrhea in women, and it is characterized by secondary and progressive dysmenorrhea. Dysmenorrhea in patients with endometriosis mainly occurs before and during menstruation, and the pain gradually decreases and disappears after menstruation.

4. Pain. Endometriosis can cause pain in the lower abdomen and lumbar region of women, and can radiate to the perineum, vagina, anus, and thighs. If the ectopic endometrium involves the uterus and rectum, as well as the utero-femoral ligament, it can also cause pain during sexual intercourse and a noticeable swelling in the anus.

The induction of endometriosis has caused great harm to many female patients:

1. Harm to fertility: It causes adhesion of the endometrium of female patients with nearby ovaries, fallopian tubes and other tissues, resulting in obstruction and distortion of the fallopian tubes, affecting the ovulation function, which is a great harm to the normal reproductive function of many patients, and can directly deprive most patients of the right to be mothers, leading to infertility.

2. Harm to health: When women suffer from endometriosis, many patients may directly experience symptoms such as increased menstrual flow, prolonged menstruation, or severe dysmenorrhea during menstruation. The closer the menstrual period is, the more intense the pain. It may also cause cyclical urinary pain, frequent urination, etc., which can directly endanger the patient's health and is so troublesome.

If patients with endometriosis cannot control the disease as soon as possible, it may endanger their fertility and even threaten their health, induce other complications and increase the damage to their bodies. Therefore, in order to ensure that they have their own children and avoid damage to their bodies, women should also pay attention to the prevention of this disease.
