3. For a period of time after abortion, the wound on the endometrium has not yet recovered, the cervical opening is relaxed, the original mucus plug in the cervix (which has the function of preventing bacteria from entering the uterine cavity) has been removed, and a new mucus plug has not yet formed. If you do not pay attention to the hygiene of the vulva at this time, the bacteria in the vagina can easily enter the uterine cavity and cause infection. Therefore: after abortion, you should keep the vulva clean and hygienic, wash it with warm water 1-2 times a day, and change the menstrual pad and straw paper frequently.

4. Do not take a sitz bath within 2 weeks or before the blood is clean. Do not have sexual intercourse within 2 months to prevent genital organ infection.

5. If you have fever, abdominal pain, or vaginal discharge with an unusual odor, it may be caused by infection and you should seek medical attention promptly.

6. After the placenta is detached during abortion, the wound left on the uterine wall may bleed a little. As the uterus contracts and the wound heals, vaginal bleeding usually stops in 3-5 days and lasts no longer than 10-15 days. If the amount of vaginal bleeding exceeds the amount of menstrual blood and lasts for too long, you need to seek medical treatment in time.

7. Sexual intercourse must be prohibited within one week before the abortion operation. It is best to wash your hair and take a shower the night before the operation. Bring sanitary pads and facial tissues with you on the morning of going to the hospital. Eating and drinking water are prohibited within 8 hours before the abortion.
