How to cure ovulation bleeding

Ovulation bleeding is the period of vaginal bleeding during the middle of the menstrual cycle, i.e. during ovulation, when the estrogen level drops temporarily, causing the endometrium to lose hormonal support and some of the endometrium to shed, which is called ovulation bleeding. Traditional Chinese medicine calls it "intermenstrual bleeding". So how can ovulation bleeding be cured?

1. Western medicine treatment:

Diethylstilbestrol 0.25-0.5nmg/day, start taking it 3 days before ovulation and stop taking it 1-3 days after the bleeding stops.

2. Traditional Chinese Medicine Treatment

(1) Kidney Yin Deficiency: Vaginal bleeding between periods, small amount, red color, soreness of waist and knees, dizziness, tinnitus, fever in the five parts of the body, red tongue, less coating, and fine pulse. Treatment: nourish the kidney and yin, clear away heat and stop bleeding. Prescription: 15g each of Radix Rehmanniae, Fructus Ligustri Lucidi, Herba Polygoni Multiflori, Radix Dioscoreae, Poriae, Fructus Corni, Cortex Moutan, Rhizoma Alismatis, each 10g. Chinese patent medicine: Liuwei Dihuang Pills.

(2) Internal accumulation of dampness and heat: Vaginal bleeding between periods, red in color and sticky in texture, or leucorrhea with blood streaks, usually heavy, yellow in color, thick in texture, foul-smelling leucorrhea, fullness in the chest and abdomen, sticky mouth, bitter taste in the mouth, upset, poor appetite, lower abdominal distension, uncomfortable bowel movements, red tongue with yellow greasy coating, and soft or slippery pulse. Treatment: Clear dampness and heat, regulate menstruation and stop bleeding. Prescription: 15g each of Atractylodes macrocephala, raw coix seed, Cyathula officinalis, and Root bark of Sophora japonica, 10g each of Phellodendron chinense, Orientalis, and Plantago seed (package). Chinese patent medicine: Gujing Pills.

(3) Blood stasis: intermenstrual bleeding, small amount, dark purple color, with small blood clots, lower abdominal pain that refuses to be pressed, depression, dark purple tongue or ecchymosis, and sluggish pulse. Treatment: activate blood circulation and remove blood stasis, regulate menstruation and stop bleeding. Prescription: 15g of raw earth, 10g each of red peony root, peach kernel, angelica, moutan bark, fructus aurantii, and tortoise shell (pre-decocted), and 1.5g of Panax notoginseng powder (mixed with water). Chinese patent medicine: Xuefu Zhuyu Pills.
