There are three main methods for clinical treatment of cervical erosion, namely drug therapy, physical therapy and surgical treatment. So, how to reasonably choose the treatment method according to your own condition? 1. Drug treatment Drug treatment is mainly suitable for patients who are not pregnant and have mild to moderate cervical erosion. Because the eroded cheeks are small and the inflammatory infiltration is relatively shallow, two topical drugs can be used for treatment, namely 10%-20% silver nitrate for topical application once a week, generally 2-4 times for a course of treatment; potassium permanganate topical drug, used after menstruation, generally repeated once after 1-2 months. It should be noted that no matter what kind of drug, it must be used under the guidance of a professional doctor and should not be purchased and abused without authorization. The downside is that drug treatment of cervical erosion requires a longer course of treatment and costs more. 2. Physical therapy Physical therapy is suitable for patients with large cervical erosion area and deep inflammatory infiltration. It mainly includes four physical therapy methods, namely electric ironing, which uses a special electric iron to burn the eroded surface tissue of a certain depth, causing it to necrotize and fall off; freezing, which uses a special rapid freezing device to freeze, necrotize and fall off the diseased tissue on the cervical erosion surface; laser therapy, which uses a carbon dioxide laser therapy device commonly used in clinical practice to irradiate the eroded tissue, causing it to carbonize, crust, and fall off, and then new squamous epithelium will grow; coagulation knife therapy, which uses a special band of photothermal therapy to treat eroded tissue. 3. Surgical treatment For patients who are ineffective in both drug therapy and physical therapy, or whose erosion surface is large or deep, or whose cervix is enlarged and suspected of being cancerous, surgical treatment should be considered promptly. |
