Women's abdominal muscle exercises can prevent pelvic inflammatory disease

Pelvic inflammatory disease is a common disease in women. It is an inflammation caused by pathogens invading the uterus, fallopian tubes, ovaries, connective tissue around the uterus and pelvic membrane. When the inflammation is limited to the fallopian tubes and ovaries, it is called adnexitis.

Pelvic inflammatory disease can be acute or chronic, and can be divided into two categories: general pyogenic bacterial infection and tuberculosis infection. Pelvic inflammatory disease usually refers to inflammation caused by general pyogenic bacterial infection. Chronic pelvic inflammatory disease is mostly caused by incomplete treatment of acute inflammation, or the patient's weak constitution and prolonged illness. The systemic symptoms of patients with chronic pelvic inflammatory disease are mostly not obvious. Generally, they only have lower abdominal pain of varying degrees, sometimes light and sometimes heavy, or a feeling of heaviness or pulling in the lower abdomen, which worsens before menstruation, after fatigue or after sexual intercourse, and is often accompanied by a feeling of abdominal heaviness during defecation, increased leucorrhea, low back pain, menstrual disorders, etc. It can also cause ectopic pregnancy or infertility due to fallopian tube adhesions.

Strengthening the waist and abdominal muscles can be said to be beneficial to women. In addition to shaping the body and preventing various gynecological diseases such as pelvic inflammatory disease, it can also improve the quality of sex life. Gynecological diseases can be prevented by exercising the abdominal muscles. The most suitable method is sit-ups, which can make the parts under the belly move. For those under 30 years old, the best score for sit-ups should be 45 to 50 per minute; for those aged 30, it is best to do 40 to 45 per minute; for those aged 40, it should be about 35 per minute; for those aged 50, it should be 25 to 30 per minute.
