Causes of localized adenomyosis

Causes of localized adenomyosis

The onset of localized adenomyosis is related to a variety of factors, including endometriosis, reproductive hormone disorders, and repeated intrauterine operations. Once women find obvious symptoms, they should consult a doctor as soon as possible to avoid worsening of the disease.

Localized adenomyosis is a special manifestation of endometriosis, in which endometrial tissue abnormally grows into the myometrium, forming localized lesions. This disease is more common in women between 30 and 50 years old and may be indirectly related to irregular menstruation, chronic inflammation and other uterine diseases.

Studies have shown that the disease may have many causes. First, endometrial fragments flow back into the uterine myometrium during menstruation, causing endometrial cells to "go astray" and gradually form lesions in the myometrium; second, high estrogen levels can also stimulate abnormal endometrial proliferation; third, surgical curettage, cesarean section and other operations destroy the uterine barrier and "open a back door" to the endometrial tissue. Genetics and chronic uterine inflammation may also increase the risk of disease.

It is particularly important to maintain a healthy uterine environment in life, such as avoiding frequent intrauterine operations and reducing inflammatory responses in the body. You can regulate your body's hormone levels through regular work and rest, a balanced diet, and moderate exercise. If you experience severe dysmenorrhea, abnormal menstrual flow, or lower abdominal pain during menstruation, you should go to the hospital for examination in time to identify the cause and take targeted treatment.
