Can sauna and massage remove subcutaneous fat? Eliminate subcutaneous fat by doing this

How to eliminate the three types of body fat?

To put it simply, it is "body fat". In fact, body fat can be divided into 3 types. And the reasons for each type of body fat gain and how to reduce it are different. First, let’s explain the three types of body fat one by one.

Type 1: Subcutaneous fat (fat under the skin)

The fat just below the skin is called subcutaneous fat.

The method to distinguish subcutaneous fat in the abdomen is very simple. When the abdominal muscles are exerted, the fat will be elastic and what you can grab with your fingers is subcutaneous fat; the part that you cannot grab is other types of body fat.

It is generally believed that subcutaneous fat has almost no adverse effects on health and is considered "benign fat". On the contrary, visceral fat can have adverse effects on health, so it is called "bad fat".

The function of subcutaneous fat is to "store energy". In other words, subcutaneous fat is stored energy, so when other energy is available, such as calories from food, subcutaneous fat is not used.

In short, subcutaneous fat can be said to be body fat that is "difficult to eliminate". It is also said that areas where subcutaneous fat accumulates are difficult to eliminate, such as around the abdomen, arms, face, and back.

Maybe everyone has experienced the painful experience that subcutaneous fat is difficult to eliminate.

Ways to eliminate subcutaneous fat

Some people may think that "going to a sauna or having a massage can remove subcutaneous fat", but unfortunately, these methods cannot eliminate subcutaneous fat.

These methods will only reduce water content and edema, making you lose weight temporarily, but the subcutaneous fat itself will not be reduced.

In addition, some people may think that "aerobic exercises such as running can remove subcutaneous fat", but aerobic exercise alone cannot actually eliminate subcutaneous fat. When you only do aerobic exercise, it will trigger "gluconeogenesis", converting muscles into energy, making it difficult to eliminate subcutaneous fat.

If you want to get rid of subcutaneous fat, you must "exercise muscles" and increase muscle mass. If you want to do aerobic exercise, you might as well do it after strength training.

In order to avoid muscle loss due to gluconeogenesis, protein should be consumed before muscle training. It is recommended that you eat whey protein because the absorption rate is better than food. In addition, essential amino acid products are absorbed faster than whey protein, so taking essential amino acid products 30 minutes before muscle training or during strength training can also show results.

Essential amine acid = EAA. Usually the "product" of essential amine acid is also referred to as EAA. EAA can be effectively absorbed whether taken before or during aerobic exercise.

In addition, taking EAA after strength training or aerobic exercise can speed up muscle recovery and avoid muscle damage.

For women who can’t lose weight by limiting sugar intake…the culprit is actually subcutaneous fat! ?

Regarding the fact that subcutaneous fat is not easy to eliminate, I will use actual cases that I have seen to illustrate this to you.

When I first started guiding patients on a sugar-restricted diet in the hospital, I would often come across cases that seemed to be seeking treatment at the weight loss clinic, because in addition to patients who "suffer from diabetes" and "want to reduce medication", people who "can't lose weight" would also come for consultation.

One day, a female patient came to see a doctor because she "could never lose weight". After detailed questioning, it was found that she was actually following the sugar-restricted diet therapy. So I did further research and found that there might be a reason. Later, a CT scan confirmed that she really did not have much visceral fat, and most of it was subcutaneous fat. This is often the case with women.

As mentioned above, subcutaneous fat is a type of body fat that is difficult to eliminate, and it is extremely difficult to reduce subcutaneous fat through diet alone. If you want to lose subcutaneous fat through diet alone, you must strictly restrict your diet to lose weight, which may lead to malnutrition.

Therefore, it must be emphasized again that if you want to eliminate subcutaneous fat, you must exercise your muscles.
