Rice helps you lose weight! 5 Homemade Low-Carb Dishes

However, bread is made by grinding wheat into powder, adding eggs, sugar and other ingredients to bake, and the calorie content is relatively high, with an average of about 299 calories per 100 grams of white toast. In comparison, white rice has lower calories, is easier to make you feel full, and is more conducive to weight control.

Dr. Lin Wenyuan said that there was a study that took overweight women with a BMI greater than 25 and aged between 25 and 30 as the subjects. They were asked to eat rice for 6 consecutive weeks and followed a low-calorie diet for observation. The results showed that this actually helped control their weight.

In order to change the misconception among Chinese people that "eating rice will make you fat", the China Medical University Hospital and Evergreen Laurel Hotel jointly developed 5 rice dishes. The lowest calorie "Purple Rice and Red Bean Sweet Soup" has only 104.8 calories, and the highest calorie "Lotus Leaf Multi-Grain Rice" has about 367.6 calories, which is much lower than the recommended intake of 500 calories for an adult woman per meal, and is healthier than 1.5 slices of pizza which has more than 500 calories.
