Diarrhea caused 2 cup sizes to fall off? TCM: Too exaggerated

The weather is cold in winter, and many people like to eat spicy hot pot to warm their bodies. However, a woman in Taichung had her breasts enlarged by one cup size through acupuncture. However, she suffered from gastrointestinal discomfort and severe diarrhea after eating spicy hot pot for two consecutive days. After having diarrhea for three consecutive days, she found that her breasts had shrunk from D to B. The Chinese medicine practitioner said that the patient's condition was too exaggerated and he might have severe gastrointestinal discomfort, so he recommended that he should control his diet.

Dr. Chen Chaozong, a Chinese medicine practitioner, said that diarrhea and dehydration after acupuncture breast augmentation may cause the breast cup size to become smaller due to weight loss, but it will not usually decrease by more than half a cup size.

Chinese medicine practitioner Chen Chaozong said that acupuncture breast augmentation mainly stimulates acupuncture points to regulate breast glands and hormones in the body, causing the pituitary gland to release hormones to promote breast development. Generally speaking, if women want to maintain their ideal cup size after acupuncture breast augmentation, they should maintain a proper weight and avoid being too thin or losing weight; they should not drink ice drinks or eat cold food to avoid affecting the stability of hormones.

If you eat a lot of spicy hot pot after acupuncture breast augmentation, you may easily suffer from diarrhea due to excessive stimulation of the stomach and intestines. In severe cases, it may cause dehydration, resulting in weight loss and reduction of breast fat, which will cause the breasts that have worked so hard to "grow" to "shrink" again.

Chinese medicine practitioner Chen Chaozong said that even if severe diarrhea and dehydration occur after acupuncture breast augmentation, the breast size will usually only be reduced by about half a cup size. The above case of a reduction of about 2 cup sizes is a bit exaggerated, which may be related to the patient's particularly poor gastrointestinal function. It is recommended that daily diet should be controlled to avoid increasing the burden on the gastrointestinal tract.

【Improve gastrointestinal function by eating less of these three types of food】

  1. Dairy products such as milk, yogurt and cheese will increase the burden of intestinal digestion of lactose, increase the osmotic pressure inside the intestine, prevent the absorption of water, and thus cause diarrhea. Therefore, even patients who are not lactose intolerant should reduce their intake.

  2. Eat a light diet without too much oil, so as not to increase the burden on the stomach and intestines to digest fat and cause indigestion.

  3. Do not eat spicy foods such as spicy hot pot to avoid over-stimulating the stomach and intestines.
