Is 30mm of pelvic effusion serious?

Is pelvic effusion of 30mm considered serious?

1. Pelvic effusion refers to the presence of inflammatory exudate in the pelvic cavity. It may occur after the endometrium becomes inflamed. It is a slightly viscous fluid that exudes from the swollen cells of the endometrial tissue and is gradually wrapped by the surrounding tissue to form a cystic mass.

2. Pelvic effusion caused by acute or chronic pelvic inflammatory disease and adnexitis is often accompanied by bilateral or unilateral lower abdominal pain, lumbosacral pain, low back pain, lower abdominal distension and pain, low back pain, etc., or due to long-term standing, overwork, sexual intercourse, or premenstrual aggravation, severe cases affect work. Or lower abdominal pain, or increased leucorrhea, menstrual disorders, heavy menstrual blood, dysmenorrhea, sexual discomfort; patients feel very uncomfortable and should be treated immediately and actively until the effusion is absorbed and dissipated.

In fact, 30mm of pelvic fluid is considered serious. 30mm of pelvic fluid is abnormal. This is because:

1. Pelvic effusion less than 10mm is the normal range of pelvic effusion. At this time, generally after female ovulation or in early pregnancy, the follicular fluid will flow into the pelvic cavity along with the ruptured follicles. Generally, the amount is small and most of them can disappear naturally without treatment.

2. If a woman's pelvic effusion is larger than 10mm, it is usually caused by chronic pelvic inflammation, i.e. pathological pelvic effusion. The causes of pathological pelvic effusion include: medical infection caused by artificial abortion, inadequate sterilization during induced labor, etc.

Pelvic effusion of 30mm is considered serious. The normal value of pelvic effusion should be less than 10MM. It is usually caused by inflammatory exudation in the pelvis. Pelvic effusion indicates inflammation. It can be treated with medication. After the pelvic inflammation is cured, the pelvic effusion will disappear naturally. However, pelvic effusion is not determined by the amount. It mainly depends on whether it is physiological effusion or inflammatory effusion.
