The examination showed that it was candidal vaginitis. What happened?

Candidal vaginitis is vulvovaginal candidiasis. According to examination, vulvovaginal candidiasis may be caused by drug factors, frequent wearing of tight synthetic underwear, gastrointestinal candidiasis infection or fecal contamination, and can be treated by general treatment, local medication, oral medication, etc.

1. Drug factors: long-term use of broad-spectrum antibiotics, large amounts of immune preparations, long-term use of estrogen and other drugs may cause flora disorders in the body, vaginal flora disorders, lower vaginal pH, and lead to excessive proliferation and growth of Candida, causing inflammation of the vagina and surrounding tissues. These drugs need to be stopped in time to improve.

2. Frequently wear tight synthetic underwear: If you often wear tight synthetic underwear, it will generally increase the local temperature and humidity of the vulva, which is more suitable for the reproduction of Candida, and it is also easy to cause vulvovaginal Candida disease. You need to adjust your dressing habits, and choose to wear pure cotton underwear, which is soft and breathable. At the same time, you can use clotrimazole suppositories, miconazole nitrate vaginal soft capsules, clotrimazole tablets and other drugs for vaginal treatment under the guidance of a doctor, or you can take oral nystatin tablets, fluconazole capsules, itraconazole capsules and other drugs.

3. Gastrointestinal Candida infection or feces contamination of the vagina: If there is a gastrointestinal Candida infection, gastrointestinal Candida can be excreted with feces during defecation. If the action is not correct when wiping, it may contaminate the vagina and cause disease. It can also be treated with drugs such as nystatin tablets, fluconazole capsules, and itraconazole capsules.

In addition to the above reasons, it may also be caused by diabetes, immune system damage, etc. No matter what the cause is, it must be treated in time.
