Clinically, ovarian cysts often present with lower abdominal pain, lower abdominal discomfort, increased vaginal discharge, yellow vaginal discharge, abnormal vaginal odor, and menstrual irregularities. There is usually a solid and painless mass in the lower abdomen, and sometimes sexual intercourse may cause pain.

4. Cause infertility and affect fertility: Once the ovarian cyst becomes larger or degenerates, it is possible that the sperm, egg or fertilized egg cannot function normally, thereby affecting fertility and leading to infertility.

5. Canceration, life-threatening: Ovarian cysts can easily become twisted, infected, bleeding or burst, threatening the patient's life. Some tumorous cysts can even become cancerous.
