Can endometriosis be detected by B-ultrasound?

Endometriosis is a gynecological disease with a high incidence in recent years. Endometriosis has a certain impact on the patient's life. So, can endometriosis be detected by B-ultrasound?

Endometriosis can be diagnosed by B-ultrasound. B-ultrasound is an auxiliary method for endometriosis, which can be easily confused with other gynecological diseases. The sonogram of endometrioid cysts shows granular and fine echoes. Currently, laparoscopy is the main method for diagnosing endometriosis. Laparoscopy can directly peer into the pelvic cavity, and the diagnosis can be confirmed by seeing the ectopic lesions.

Check for endometriosis with the following symptoms;

1. Dysmenorrhea and pain: mainly manifested as secondary and progressive dysmenorrhea. The pain is mostly located in the lower abdomen and lumbosacral region, and can radiate to the vagina, perineum, anus or thigh. Symptoms of endometriosis: Dysmenorrhea, often starts 1 to 2 days before menstruation, is most severe on the first day of menstruation, and continues until gradually subsides after menstruation, but it progressively worsens with the menstrual cycle, and the degree of pain is not proportional to the size of the lesion.

When the ectopic endometrium involves the rectouterine pouch and uterosacral ligament, there are often pain during sexual intercourse and a feeling of anal distension, especially during menstruation; in abdominal wall scar endometriosis, the abdominal wall scar will increase and cause severe pain during menstruation; intestinal endometriosis is accompanied by diarrhea or constipation, and even periodic bloody stools, which can cause unbearable pain during defecation; bladder endometriosis can cause periodic frequent urination, dysuria or hematuria; rupture of ovarian chocolate cysts can cause acute abdominal pain and peritoneal irritation signs, which are similar to the symptoms of ruptured ectopic pregnancy.

2. Irregular menstruation, increased menstruation or prolonged menstruation.

3. Infertility. If it is endometriosis of the uterus and ovaries, it can be detected by B-ultrasound. Regular ovulation bleeding is different from endometriosis.
