How to treat ovulation bleeding

How to treat ovulation bleeding

I believe that most girls will experience irregular menstruation, such as menstruation not stopping, and bleeding between two menstrual periods. Has this ever happened to you? Your menstruation has just ended, but you suddenly find that you are bleeding again when you go to the toilet? This phenomenon has a professional name, called ovulation bleeding, which is different from menstruation.

Ovulation bleeding is caused by female endocrine dysfunction. Due to a temporary drop in estrogen levels, the endometrium loses hormonal support and part of the endometrium falls off, which then causes regular vaginal bleeding.

Generally speaking, if there is a small amount of bleeding during ovulation and no abdominal pain, no treatment is needed, and conception is possible during this period. However, if there is abdominal pain and bleeding during ovulation, or the bleeding is as much as normal menstrual flow, or the duration exceeds 7 days, you need to go to the hospital for examination to rule out other gynecological diseases.

If the condition is serious and requires TCM treatment, estrogen can be taken under the guidance of a doctor, or TCM can be used to treat the condition based on the syndrome differentiation of kidney yin deficiency or internal dampness and heat. The treatment is mainly based on nourishing yin and clearing heat, but it is still recommended to eat more tonic foods such as turtle, tortoise, fish, shrimp, black-bone chicken, black sesame, eggs, mushrooms, and fresh vegetables and fruits, and eat less fried, spicy, fragrant, and dry foods that help fire, avoid greasy and overly sweet foods, and avoid overusing the brain, fatigue, and mood swings.

During the bleeding period, you should avoid overwork, get more rest, and ensure good sleep. Keep the area clean to prevent infection. When the abdominal pain is severe, you can use hot compresses to relieve the pain. At the same time, keep your emotions stable, relax, and strengthen physical exercise to improve your physical fitness.

During the ovulation period, you should avoid eating raw, cold, sour, spicy and other irritating foods. Drink more water and keep your bowels open. People with hot blood should eat more fresh fruits and vegetables before menstruation, and avoid eating onions, garlic, leeks, ginger and other things that stimulate the flow of fire. Pay attention to the hygiene of the external genitalia, and wash and change underwear frequently.
