Will ovarian cysts recur? There are many common gynecological diseases, and ovarian cyst is one of them. Ovarian cysts are the most common ovarian lesions clinically. They belong to ovarian interstitial cell lesions and have no effect on the human body. Clinically, it is necessary to observe the size and number of ovarian cysts. If the ovarian cyst is relatively large, it may cause symptoms of compression of the surrounding tissues, and a mass may be felt in the abdomen. If strenuous exercise is performed, ovarian cyst pedicle torsion and acute abdomen may also occur. If the ovarian cyst grows rapidly or the maximum diameter is greater than 5cm, surgical resection may be considered. Rapid intraoperative pathology and postoperative pathology examinations can further clarify the nature of the ovarian cyst. If the ovarian cyst is relatively small and grows slowly, and physiological cysts are not ruled out, it is also possible to continue to observe without rushing for surgical treatment. Ovarian cysts have many different properties and causes. Common physiological cysts are follicles or corpus luteum formed after ovulation. Physiological cysts are very common and most of them can disappear after normal menstruation. They can be rechecked after two or three menstrual cycles. Pathological cysts cannot disappear. Whether surgery is required depends mainly on the nature of the cyst. If the cyst is solid or cystic and solid under B-ultrasound, surgery is generally required. Simple cysts that are not very large can be checked regularly and generally do not require surgery. Whether it is an inflammatory stimulus caused by an inflammatory cyst, an ovarian chocolate cyst caused by endometriosis, or an ordinary cyst caused by estrogen-progesterone preparations, generally speaking, the cyst may recur again after surgery. Because inflammatory cysts can usually be considered for infusion to reduce inflammation and relieve pain, the cyst will disappear after the inflammation is reduced. If the inflammation is infected again, the cyst will recur and grow again. Ovarian chocolate cysts are caused by endometriosis, so even after removal, it may cause endometriosis and recurrence again. |
