B-ultrasound is a commonly used technology for examination. Many diseases or unknown diseases can be detected by B-ultrasound. So, how to check endometriosis by B-ultrasound? Can it be detected? Endometriosis is a common gynecological disease in women caused by the implantation of endometrial cells in abnormal locations. Endometrial cells are supposed to grow in the uterine cavity, but because the uterine cavity is connected to the pelvic cavity through the fallopian tube, endometrial cells can enter the pelvic cavity through the fallopian tube and grow ectopically. There are many theories about the pathogenesis of this disease, among which the most widely accepted is the endometrial implantation theory. The occurrence of endometriosis is also related to the body's immune function, genetic factors, and environmental factors. B-ultrasound examination is one of the commonly used examination methods in obstetrics and gynecology, and plays an important role in the diagnosis of obstetrics and gynecology diseases. In the diagnosis of pelvic endometriosis, the diagnosis can be made based on the characteristics of B-ultrasound images, such as the diagnosis of ovarian endometriosis cysts, and the location, size, shape of the cyst can be determined, and masses that were not touched during gynecological examinations can be found. B-ultrasound can assist in the diagnosis of pelvic endometriosis by performing pelvic pneumatic angiography and hysterosalpingography. Under pelvic pneumatic angiography, adhesions of uterine appendages can be shown, forming whitening shadows of varying density and irregularity, a smaller distance between the uterus and the rectum, and a shallower and whiter uterine rectal pouch. Hysterosalpingography can show that the uterus is retroverted, fixed, and has iodized oil residue around the fimbria, and that the fallopian tubes are unobstructed, twisted, or rigid. A 24-hour follow-up radiograph shows that the iodized oil is in the form of small lumps, uneven thickness, dots, or snowflakes. |
