Symptoms of irregular menstruation?

Menstrual irregularity refers to abnormalities in the menstrual cycle, period, menstrual volume, color, and quality, or symptoms that occur along with the menstrual cycle. Early menstruation, delayed menstruation, prolonged menstruation, heavy menstruation, light menstruation, intermenstrual bleeding, dysmenorrhea, and amenorrhea are all symptoms of menstrual irregularity.

1. Early menstruation. Early menstruation means that the menstrual cycle is normal, but it suddenly shortens to less than 21 days, and it occurs for more than 2 cycles in a row, but the menstrual volume is normal. 2. Delayed menstruation. The menstrual cycle is regular, but the menstruation is delayed for more than 7 days, or even 40-50 days, and it occurs for more than two menstrual cycles in a row, but the menstrual volume is normal. 3. Prolonged menstruation. The menstrual cycle is normal, the menstrual volume is normal, but the menstrual period is prolonged, and the menstrual period exceeds 7 days, or even 2 weeks before it ends. 4. Heavy menstruation. The daily blood loss during menstruation is more than 80ml, or the menstrual volume is significantly increased compared to the past, which is called heavy menstruation. 5. Light menstruation. The menstrual cycle is basically normal, but the menstrual volume is significantly reduced, and even a little drip is enough; or the menstrual period is shortened to less than two days, and the menstrual volume is also light. 6. Mid-term bleeding. Also known as intermenstrual bleeding and ovulation bleeding. It refers to bleeding that occurs between two regular menstrual cycles. 7. Amenorrhea. There are two types of amenorrhea: primary and secondary. Primary amenorrhea refers to the absence of secondary sexual characteristics in women over 14 years of age, or the absence of menstruation in women over 16 years of age with secondary sexual characteristics developed. Secondary amenorrhea refers to the cessation of menstruation for more than 6 months after the establishment of a normal menstrual cycle, or the cessation of menstruation for more than 3 cycles according to the original menstrual cycle.
