What is the relationship between endometriosis and dysmenorrhea?

Normally, the endometrium covers the surface of the uterine cavity. If the endometrium grows elsewhere in the body due to some factors, it can become endometriosis.

This ectopic endometrium has not only endometrial glands but also endometrial stroma; its function changes significantly with estrogen levels, that is, it changes with the menstrual cycle, but only some progesterone will produce a small amount of menstruation, leading to various clinical phenomena.

There are several common symptoms of endometriosis:

1. Endometriosis is a very harmful disease, but many female friends still lack understanding of endometriosis, which is very unfavorable for the timely prevention and treatment of endometriosis.

2. The uterus is the space for nurturing life. If there is any problem with the uterus, it may lead to female infertility. Clinical investigations show that endometriosis is an important cause of female infertility.

3. Excessive or irregular menstruation, early, wrong, prolonged or shortened menstruation. In case of endometriosis, the menstrual volume often increases and the menstrual period is prolonged. It may be caused by an increase in the endometrium, but it is mainly accompanied by loss of ovarian function.

4. Endometriosis occurs when endometrial tissue becomes disordered in the uterine cavity. Endometriosis has no obvious symptoms in the early stages. The course of this disease is long, and many women will experience changes in the endometrium after menopause, which gradually atrophies. Endometriosis is actually a sex hormone-dependent disease, and women can inhibit the development of the disease during pregnancy or by using sex hormones.
