What to do if your period does not come due to candidal vaginitis

What should I do if my period doesn’t come due to candidal vaginitis?

Candidiasis refers to vulvovaginal candidiasis, and aunt refers to menstruation. Vulvovaginal candidiasis usually does not lead to amenorrhea, and the two are not necessarily related. Amenorrhea may be caused by irregular menstruation during adolescence, pregnancy, menstrual disorders, etc.

1. Irregular menstruation during adolescence:

The glandular system of adolescent females is not fully developed, and the positive feedback mechanism of the central system to estrogen is not yet mature, which can lead to irregular menstrual cycles. Usually, they gradually return to normal after regular ovulation is established, and generally no special treatment is required.

2. Pregnancy:

After pregnancy, the fertilized egg will be implanted in the uterus. At this time, the endometrium will thicken, the ovaries will not ovulate, there will be no decrease in hormones, the endometrium will no longer shed, and the patient will have menstruation. No treatment is needed at this time, and regular prenatal examinations are required.

3. Menstrual disorders:

It is a common gynecological disease. Changes in estrogen and abnormal emotions in the body can lead to menstrual disorders, which in turn affect the menstrual cycle and cause amenorrhea. At this time, it is necessary to see a clear diagnosis and then use medication according to the doctor's advice, such as progesterone capsules, dydrogesterone tablets, medroxyprogesterone acetate tablets, etc., to improve symptoms.

In addition to the above reasons, it may also be genital tuberculosis, pituitary tumors, etc., which require treatment. At the same time, patients with vulvovaginal candidiasis need to use nitrofurantoin vaginal soft capsules, fluconazole, itraconazole and other drugs according to the doctor's advice.
