Is it serious to find adenomyosis after miscarriage? What are the symptoms?

The condition of patients with adenomyosis will worsen after miscarriage. The cause of adenomyosis is still unclear. The current consensus is that the uterus lacks submucosal lining, so the basal cells of the endometrium proliferate and invade the myometrium, accompanied by compensatory hypertrophy and hyperplasia of the surrounding myometrial cells.

Adenomyosis is also an important cause of secondary dysmenorrhea, which is mainly manifested by increased menstrual volume, prolonged menstruation, progressive aggravation of dysmenorrhea, hardness and tenderness in the lower abdomen, and more severe menstrual tenderness. The severity of cramps or colic is unbearable. A few patients may also have pain during sexual intercourse. A few patients may have vaginal spotting before and after menstruation, and the endometrium invades the myometrium, which is called adenomyosis.

The clinical symptoms of adenomyosis are as follows.

The following is a detailed introduction:

1. Excessive menstruation. Adenomyosis can cause the uterine wall to thicken, the uterine cavity to enlarge, and the endometrial shedding area to increase. The thickening of the uterine wall will affect the uterine contraction and hemostasis function, so menstrual bleeding will increase significantly and the menstrual period will be prolonged. Endometrial hyperplasia is also a cause of excessive menstruation.

2. Secondary dysmenorrhea. Clinicians point out that most patients go to the hospital for treatment only after dysmenorrhea symptoms appear. The dysmenorrhea of adenomyosis is secondary. That is, dysmenorrhea occurs during adolescence, and there is no dysmenorrhea even at the beginning of the reproductive period. This type of dysmenorrhea is progressively aggravated.
