The dangers of thick endometrium

The dangers of thick endometrium:

Endometrial thickness does not refer to a specific disease, but a description of the morphology of the endometrium. Endometrial thickness can be divided into physiological endometrial thickening and pathological endometrial thickening. Physiological endometrial thickening is a preparation for pregnancy, so it is harmless. However, pathological endometrial thickening is more harmful to women, such as affecting fertility, anemia, irregular vaginal bleeding, menstrual disorders, and even shock, endometrial cancer, etc.

Under normal circumstances, the ovaries can produce eggs during the menstrual cycle, and at the same time secrete estrogen and progesterone, which leads to physiological thickening of the endometrium. Most women with physiological endometrial thickening have normal menstruation. If pathological endometrial thickening occurs, it means that the secretion of estrogen and progesterone in women is abnormal, and a series of symptoms such as menstrual disorders and irregular vaginal bleeding may occur. Accompanied by endometrial thickening, vaginal bleeding may be more or less. If the bleeding is too much, it will also cause hemorrhagic anemia, and severe shock may cause life-threatening. Especially for postmenopausal women, irregular vaginal bleeding accompanied by continued thickening of the endometrium may be a manifestation of endometrial cancer.

Women with endometrial thickening should go to the hospital for treatment in time if they have irregular menstruation.
