Pu'er tea for weight loss How can you lose weight by drinking Pu'er tea every day? Various weight loss methods have emerged one after another. Although everyone knows that taking steps and controlling diet are the fundamentals, but after repeated failures, everyone hopes for a simple and effective way to slim down the waist and hips. The legendary Pu'er tea that can "strip away fat" has brought people hope. According to the degree of oxidation of polyphenols during tea processing, tea can generally be divided into six categories: unfermented green tea, slightly fermented white tea, lightly fermented yellow tea, semi-fermented green tea (such as oolong tea), fully fermented black tea and post-fermented dark tea (such as Pu'er tea). Among them, Pu'er tea is a specialty tea of Yunnan. It began to develop in the Ming Dynasty and entered its heyday in the Qing Dynasty. Modern Pu'er tea is made from sun-dried green tea that has been fermented and refined. Under the promotion of microbial enzymes and the influence of moisture and heat, a series of reactions occur in sun-dried green tea, including oxidation and condensation of tea polyphenols, decomposition of proteins, amino acids and carbohydrates, and condensation and polymerization of various components, thus producing complex compounds. Currently, most research is limited to animal experiments on its extracts. Studies have found that green tea, black tea and Pu'er tea all have strong antioxidant effects, and fermented Pu'er and black tea are even better than green tea. The reason may be that the chemical composition of tea leaves has changed after long-term fermentation and storage. For example, Pu'er tea contains almost no monomer polyphenols, theaflavins and gallic acid found in black tea and green tea, but produces special polyphenols. A large number of animal experiments have shown that tea polyphenols may affect the physiological functions of adipocytes and pre-adipocytes. Overall, there is currently no clear evidence that tea consumption is associated with weight. However, a French clinical study showed that after moderately obese people drank green tea containing 25% epigallocatechin-3-glucose (EGCG) for three months, their weight decreased by 4.6% and their waist circumference decreased by 4.5%. Possible mechanisms of weight loss after drinking tea include reduced calorie intake, increased calorie expenditure, and changes in liver, muscle and intestinal cell activity. However, these all depend on the dosage of the specific ingredients and the method of intake. So why not try the Pu'er tea weight loss method I provide: drink a large cup of light Pu'er tea, about 400ml, after breakfast before going out. Drink a cup of strong Pu'er tea, about 300 ml, while eating at noon, and start a half-hour walk or other aerobic exercise after the meal. In the afternoon, drink about 500ml of light Pu'er tea. This will not affect sleep, but will help delay the rise in blood sugar after meals and reduce the accumulation of fat caused by large amounts of insulin. In short, the key to losing weight is to reduce your daily calorie intake and increase exercise. The best way is to try some methods to find the method that suits you best and that you can stick to.
