Traditional Chinese Medicine Treatment of Fungal Vaginitis

Traditional Chinese medicine treatment of candidal vaginitis:

1. Cnidium monnieri and Sophora flavescens 20g, decoct in water and use for external washing, twice a day, one course of treatment for 10 days.

2. Add 1000g of Hibiscus mutabilis into water and boil it until it becomes 100mL. Use a cotton swab dipped in the liquid medicine to clean the vagina once a day. 7 times to 10 days constitute a course of treatment.

3. Add a little glycerin and stir evenly. After cleaning the vagina, use a cotton swab to apply the powder inside the vagina, once in the morning and once in the evening.

4. Grind coptis root, indigo, saltpeter, etc. into fine powder, add glycerin, and apply to the vulva and vagina with a cotton swab, once in the morning and once in the evening

5. 19 kinds of Chinese herbal medicines including Coptis chinensis, Phellodendron chinense, Scutellaria baicalensis, Kochia scoparia, Cnidium monnieri, Gallnut, Three-grass Lychee Herb, Gentiana scabra, and Oldenlandia diffusa are decocted for fumigation and washing to clear away heat and dampness, kill bacteria and detoxify, and dispel wind and relieve itching.

6. The Chinese medicinal prescription for decoction is taken from 30g of Sophora flavescens, 30g of Phellodendron chinense, 30g of Kochia scoparia, 20g of Rhizoma Smilacis Glabrae, 20g of Stemona, 15g of Cnidium monnieri, 15g of Atractylodes macrocephala, 15g of Dictamni, and 15g of Celosia cristata. Add 1500-2000ml of water and soak for 1 hour, then decoct into 5000ml, remove the residue and pour into a basin, steam the vulva while it is hot, and then take a sitz bath for 15-20 minutes when the water temperature is moderate. Do this once a day in the morning and evening, for a course of 10 days.
