What are the symptoms of dysmenorrhea caused by ovarian cysts

Can ovarian cysts cause dysmenorrhea? What are the symptoms?

Ovarian cysts are a complex and common gynecological disease caused by endometriosis. The endometrium of mature women is shed once a month, which is menstruation.

Under normal circumstances, the shed endometrium will be discharged along the vagina, but some people have an excessively backward tilted uterus, vaginal atresia, cervical stenosis, multiple miscarriages, menstrual intercourse, etc., which cause the endometrium to flow through the fallopian tubes to the ovaries, rectum, bladder, etc.

The main symptoms of ovarian cysts are:

1. Dysmenorrhea and menstrual disorders

After the onset of ovarian cysts, it will greatly disrupt the patient's endocrine system, leading to persistent dysmenorrhea and irregular menstrual cycles.

2. Frequent urination and infertility

Ovarian cysts can also compress organs such as the ureter, bladder, and fallopian tubes, affecting their normal functions and leading to early symptoms of ovarian cysts. Due to compression of the fallopian tubes, the eggs cannot be discharged normally.

3. Discomfort in the lower abdomen, foreign body sensation

When an ovarian cyst occurs, as the cyst continues to grow and worsen, it will compress the organs around the ovary, such as pelvic tissue, intestinal tissue, uterus, etc., causing discomfort and foreign body sensation in the lower abdomen.
