Can uterine evacuation treat cervical erosion?

Can uterine evacuation treat cervical erosion?

Cervical erosion generally refers to cervical columnar epithelial ectopia. Cervical erosion generally treats cervical columnar epithelial ectopia. If cervical columnar epithelial ectopia is caused by changes in estrogen levels during puberty, childbearing and other physiological periods, cervical erosion will not treat the condition. It is recommended to seek medical attention in time and take appropriate treatment measures under the guidance of a doctor. The specific analysis is as follows:

1. Treatment: If cervical columnar epithelial ectopia is accompanied by cervical inflammation, cervical polyps and other pathological conditions, uterine evacuation can be used as an auxiliary treatment method. Through uterine evacuation, the fluid and blood in the uterus can be discharged, the intrauterine environment can be improved, and symptoms such as cervical inflammation can be relieved. However, uterine evacuation cannot fundamentally treat cervical columnar epithelial ectopia, and it needs to be combined with other treatment methods, such as drug therapy, physical therapy, etc.

2. No treatment: During puberty, childbearing and other physiological periods, due to changes in estrogen levels, the cervical columnar epithelium will move outward, thus showing erosion-like changes. In this case, uterine evacuation cannot treat cervical columnar epithelium ectopia.

During and after treatment, pay special attention to keeping the vulva clean. Wash the vulva with warm water every day, avoid using strong irritating detergents. At the same time, change underwear frequently to reduce the chance of bacterial growth.
